MRA BOARD UPDATE RE: COVID-19 VIRUS

A Message from our MRA Board President:

Dear Members and Parents,

 In the best interest of the ongoing health of our adult and junior membership, and with the shared responsibility to help our local and rowing community slow down the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, the MRA Board of Directors has unanimously voted to close the boathouse to all rowing activity for adults and juniors, effective immediately. This closure will remain in place until April 7th. The Board will send a communication by April 5th with an update on the reopening of the facility. 

During the boathouse closure, there will be no activity in the facility or on the water. 

In communication with our staff of coaches, we all feel strongly that this decision is in the best interest of our entire rowing community at this time.

We will remain in contact as new information may come to light.
