MARTY KATZ

In my professional career, I have served as the National Practice Leader for nonprofit organizations at two major consulting firms over the past 30 years. I work with a wide range of clients and their boards, including universities, health systems, public charities, private foundations, and associations on executive-level compensation, incentive compensation design, attraction and retention, and board governance. I have participated in too many board meetings to count, which has taught me over the years how boards work well together and what causes them to struggle. I know how to listen and participate, to contribute in a positive way, and to help the team move forward and avoid processes and behaviors that don’t add value.

MRA has changed my life in the most significant way. Over my past 3 years on the Novice and now Men’s Intermediate teams, I’ve had the great pleasure to work and play with some of the nicest people and best teammates I have ever had, and I could not be more grateful for everything this exciting new sport, incredible coaches, and outstanding teammates have given me. The camaraderie at MRA is unparalleled and I feel so fortunate to be part of it.
