CHARLES MCDONALD

My rowing career began in 1990 when I learned to row at Open Water Rowing in Sausalito. During my time at OWR from 1990 to 2015 I served as a member of the Board and also as being chairman. It was an honor to work with that community, (which includes several of the current MRA family) and I thoroughly enjoyed the comradery and friendships that I made there.

As a pulmonary physician my interests/skills are in health and safety. As a manager, I listen deeply to others’ points of view and seek to build consensus. Currently, I am also in the Chaplaincy program of Upaya Zen Center in Sante Fe which has further honed my ability to listen and build consensus.
