Simon, our dear friend, fellow rower and wonderful man, passed away peacefully yesterday ( November 13th) after a brief but brave battle with kidney cancer. He was a joyful person who positively energized everyone in his crew.

Head of the Lagoon, November 10-11 marked the last race on the calendar for the 2018 fall racing season at Marin Rowing. Unfortunately it was not the culminating weekend of racing we were looking forward to.

Over 450 people returned to the boathouse for the reunion and we had 7 eights competing for the ‘Cardiac Arrest Award’ in the morning regatta. The whole weekend was an MRA love fest!
