Please note that Marin results are marked by a red square with yellow “ Marin “ text. The maroon squares that read “Redwood” represent Redwood Scullers, a junior team from the South Bay.
The Pacific Invitational hosted both Masters and Juniors events on Saturday, something not too familiar for our region. Our Master’s Men and Women B squads, as well as several Adult Novice boats, showed up to race in red and black alongside our younger Junior athletes. The racecourse at Lake Merced is shorter than a standard 2k; all races were 1750 meters long.

Sunday, March 13th, 2022 League Race 1, at Lake Natoma in Sacramento, CA
Sunday morning, the first day of Daylight Savings for 2022, all of our Junior rowers traveled up to Sacramento to race at our first League Race of the season. Capital Crew hosted NorCal Crew from the South Bay and Marin. For some athletes, this was their first time racing on a full 2k course. This venue is also the annual host for the USRowing Southwest Regional Championships in May.

There were 24 events of which we entered 35 boats into 21 events. Of the 21 events we raced in, Marin took the first place finish position in 19.
