MASTER WOMEN ADVANCED LEVEL-B ASSISTANT COACH

Murphy Stearns began their rowing journey as a coxswain in 2017 at North Bay Rowing Club before transitioning to Marin Rowing Association in 2021. At MRA, Murphy contributed to a long-standing history of national championship successes, securing victories in the Men's 2nd Varsity 8+ in back-to-back seasons. After graduating high school, Murphy joined the coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach alongside head coach Tim Humphrey to develop the men’s U17/16/15 team. They now also serve as an assistant coach for the master women’s advanced level-B team with head coach Laurel Johnson.
