Jennifer Bowman

Jennifer Bowman arrived at Marin Rowing in the Fall of 2011 after a year of an endurance erg class.  She began her MRA  journey with the Novice team that year.  In 2013 she began her term of team captain of the intermediate squad.  In 2017 Jennifer moved up to the B’s. 2018 Jennifer was a regular in the Dupen Demon’s quad line ups sitting in any available seat in addition to rowing with the B’s. 2019 found Jennifer racing a pair through sprint season.  In 2020 Jennifer dove into the deep end and purchased her beloved Fluid Single.  In 2021 Jennifer was promoted to the Marin Masters Women’s team where she enjoys both sculling and sweep rowing port or starboard.

Outside of the Boathouse Jennifer is a Marin native, born at Marin General Hospital. She attended Ross Grammar, San Domenico, and Redwood playing various sports suited to women over 6’ tall.  Jennifer earned her degree in hotel and restaurant management and ran a highly successful event production company specializing in classic cars auctions and rallies, half marathons, celebrity social events, and fundraisers.  

Jennifer is now the principal of Bowman Real Estate Group, focusing on residential real estate in Marin and Sonoma Valley. When she is not on the water or selling homes, Jennifer can be found with her husband, Elliott and their dog Bear either in Greenbrae or Stinson Beach.
